On August 25, 2009 at 12:00 PM Atlantic time the license giveaway, which started 7 days before that, was finished. For the week of August 19th - 25th we have given 36467 licenses away. It was a challenging time for us because due to large number of visitors every day brought surprises. For example the largest Brazil software site placed the news and gave the link to the blog registration page instead of the giveaway page (I suppose it is a dream of any blogger to get 1000 registered users a day :)).
However it is our pleasure to see how many users have taken an interest in our little but mighty 'USB Safely Remove', so we are really happy! I don't know how u could have encountered such a problem. the moment i registered, i received a mail from the Safely remove site, sending the user id and the key free of cost..... that's superb....As far as i am concerned, the service was the best

I'm sorry that you feel yourself discriminated. Our team currently do not have enough resources to hold giveaway in the whole world. Despite sending the license costs us nothing, during the license giveaways our support boxes overflooded by emails, we have to pay for additional traffic and we have temporarily server falls. So we currently decided to limit our promotions by countries. Probably in future we will have a special promotion for Thailand and other Asian countries.

I have just upgraded to version 4.2 but have now found that my previous licence for 4.1 is not valid - there was no notification that this would be the case during the upgrade process. So I will now have to uninstall 4.2 and go back to 4.1 - I had assumed that the licence would be valid for minor version upgrades.
