USB Safely Remove 6.0 beta 3 is available

New version of USB Safely Remove is available for beta testing. In this beta we have fixed several minor issues and significantly improved forced stopping mechanism. Now the forced stop will unlock the device in all cases where earlier versions failed: svchost, an NTFS issue (so called $Extend\$RmMetadata\$TxfLog isue), when some low level program like antivirus, backup locked the drive etc. If you had problems with safe removal in previous versions feel free to try the beta and report us if it works for you or not.

Had a few problems with stopping mechanism in Version 5.5, but so far (with limited testing) Version 6 beta 3 has given no trouble.

Windows 10 pro 64 bit. With previous versions, two external drives running continuous backup would lock up and usually needed a restart of PC to clear for removal, even after attempts to force stop with the software. New version (6.0 beta 3) works perfectly, as far as I can ascertain at this time, with one click per drive. Thank you!

Hello Simon,
Thanks for your feedback. Can you send us the report from the program, please? In order to send the report you should proceed to "Main menu -> Help -> Report a bug", and in the opened dialog enter your e-mail and detailed description of the issues you had - how do you see that conflict, does previous version stop your encrypted drive without issues? This helps us to investigate the problem more detailed.

It is working better than previous 5.x version so far.
After two weeks, with a few external drives and USB keys, nothing has resisted the new power of version 6.
Kudos!
