Can you update to the latest version (4.2.4) and see if the problem was resolved there? Sorry, just got the update notice from USB Safely Remove today (20-Nov-2009). Yes, 4.2.4 solves the problem! Just in time to test; my 1-year license finishes early in December. I might revert to the free 4.1 lif...

4.2 Beta 1: NO-OP

4.2 Beta 1 does install and run in the Processes tab of the Windows XP Task Manager (service and program), but that's about it...

I see the regular Windows safely remove icon and cannot get to the USBSafelyRemove UI :(
