Hello jsfmd,
Thank you for the question!

Is DEP (Data execution prevention) enabled on your computer? If yes, then go to program folder, find here its executable file, open program properties and disable DEP for the program.

Please let me if it helps or not.

I opened properties of usbsafelyremove and couldn't find any reference in any tab to DEP. Where do I find it?

Found place to add USB Safely Remove to DEP exclusions. Still couldn't start the program.
