Re-enable a USB device after a "Safely remove hardware"

Post by TKB »

Hello everyone.

What is the command to re-enable a USB device after a "Safely remove hardware" without rebooting or disconnect/reconnect the USB plug?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi TKB,

If you ask how to do it in USB Safely Remove, it's easy: After you stopped a device in USB Safely Remove it became red-crossed, just left click on the device again and it will be re-enabled.
