I am having a problem getting Flash cards to be recognized on my XP Pro SP3 system now.

Safely Remove sees it but I can not get it to Return it back!

I sent in a Problem report and I hope this will help.

The Flash card works fine on my XP Home SP3 system.

I formatted the XP Pro hard drive and set the system back to its shipped condition then installed the plethora of Windows Updates after removing Norton 2004 then installing avast! Free anti virus and now I can see Flash drives on it.

It is a good thing I'm retired with nothing better to do as the weather outside is miserable and I am real short of money due to rent and food being high priority and Winter clothes replacement next.
