Vista administrator account problem

Post by cfc2000 » Apr 3rd, 2010, 3:27 pm

Every time I logon to Vista as an administrator, not as a user with administrator rights, the card reader mount points disappear, saying "The mount point has been removed". I cannot assign drive lettters (E,F,G,H on my system) on the administrator account, but when I return to the user account I can re-assign letters using disk manager. Unfortunately due to the total crappiness of Vista, I have to occasionally log on to the administ6raor account to update Java etc., otherwise i would leave it alone. i have trawled the web for an answer but have been unsuccessful so far. Something in the administrator account must be stealing my card reader drive letters!
