USB Devices

Post by TEEH » Apr 22nd, 2011, 9:36 pm

Hi, I am having a weird problem in my laptop Toshiba A100 Satellite 2 GB RAM and 360 HD. I have a external powered USB hub to which I connect many of the USB devices I have, this includes a mouse, a USB GPS, a ALFA Network USB Wireless adapter, a Bluetooth dongle, and a external USB HD.

About two weeks ago after I downloaded a RIXANE free Screensaver and uninstalling it my computer began to slow down, I have COMODO internet security but it has not detected at this time any virus spyware or malware,
So I decided to remove all the USB devices connected to the hub and now when I begin to attach one by one some are not detected, I think the position has something to do with this but I just do not rmember where this devices were attached.

I think there should be a way to refresh the USB instance so when I attach the devices the recognition and driver's location should begin, this is my best approach to the problem I am presenting. Am I okey with this , is there a way to clear the old position and start again installing the devices.

Thanks for the help,

TEEH
