Hi everybody,
Our previous versions of USB Safely Remove sometimes cause Blue Screen of Death on some specific configurations. Now we've re-write our processes detection mechanism, made it safer an faster. The new beta-version (pre-release of beta 5) is available here:
http://safelyremove.com/usbsafelyremovesetupbeta5.exe

Everybody who concerned with problem of Blue Screen in the program or who wish to help us in beta-testing is welcome to try the new version and leave comments here.

Finally an update. On Beta 4 I kept getting BUGUSB_CODE or whatever it was BSOD and finally got tired of it and wanted to go back to 3.3.1 stable. But I am glad to finally see an update out.

Hi Morisato,
Thanks a lot for your message! Am I understand right that with the new version you see programs which prevent device from being stopped, instead of BSOD?

Hi,
Did you get BSOD if you stop your devices with native Safely Remove Hardware tool?

Yes I did.....really weird. It would only do it once in awhile and it's always to my external hard drive in which im using a BlacX sata drive. I just thought maybe trying your software would solve my problem but it crashed twice last night. Im running macdrive on the external drive im using. I don't think that would have anything to do with the BSOD.
Thanks
