Trying out your product on Windows XP SP3, and it does nice job displaying and managing usb device removals. However, the reason I stumbled unto your product is that I periodically have flash drives which give the MS message of 'being accessed'. So I searched, found and installed your product, and it displays things nicely, but still, occasionally, as before, I get an equivalent message from your product, in red text, that 'could not find any processes locking the device' and 'it might be locked by Windows itself', 'try stopping again', and may 'want to shutdown Windows',etc. Well I can't keep doing that,..I simply remove the flash drive. I have not experienced data loss that I'm aware of.
This is a fairly new laptop, a Lenovo T510 preloaded with XP SP3. I did have to delete 'upperfilters' from the registry initially, because I had the bizzare yet seemingly fairly well known USB detection problem of not being able to see USB drive letters except in computer management or DOS. After some minor recommended registry deletions, all usb drives are now detected and appear properly in Windows explorer.
Just curious why your 'force stop' remains greyed out in this circumstance. Is it because Windows is preventing you from doing so?
Thanks for what appears to be a quality product.
