How do I disable startup popups that show USBSR found no drives and then that it found drives?

Klaatu,
Thanks for your question and I apologize for so long response.

The window on the screenshot is the quick stop menu of the program which is displayed when you hover mouse over the system tray icon. It displays only if you hover mouse over the icon or click on it. Therefore I'm not sure I understand your question right. Do you see this window popups automatically?

Sorry I wasn't clear.

The startup popups that USBSR found no drives and then that it found drives (the image in my post) appeared automatically without hovering my mouse over the system tray icon.

I use the word "appeared" instead of "appears" because I solved this problem but am now confused why USBSR still loads automatically.

To explain, I decided simply to disable USBSR from loading at startup thinking that if the program doesn't load, none of it's components will either. So I unchecked Startup>Run on Windows startup under Options:General. However, USBSR still loads (at startup) but neither of the popups appear.

In summary, USBSR now behaves as I want it to (loads at startup with no popups) but why does it still load even though I've unchecked that option under Options:General?

Klaatu,
It seems you manually added USB Safely Remove to the Windows autorun using one of its standard facilities (e.g. via Startup section in the Start menu or via registry). If you don't need USB Safely Remove to autorun with Windows try to look for the corresponding autorun entries and delete them using one of the tool like this one.

Also it may be a startup manager that loads automatically USB Safely Remove. Don't you have one?

According to Starter 5629:
1) USBSR is not checked as a startup program. In fact, it's not even listed as a startup item as shown in Starter's first tab, "Startups,"
2) USBSR is shown as an active process according to "Processes" tab and

3) USBSR is shown as an active service according to "Services" tab.

Guess as before, I'm still confused as to why it still starts. Do I have to change its Service to Manual from Automatic?
