 Post subject: Beta5 in Win2000 SP4 and locked devices error!

Hi!

Trying to stop a locked USB stick the 'device cannot be stopped' dialog produced the following error message:

A technical error has occurred while we tried to prepare to determining programs locking device. Please report about this problem to the support of USB Safely Remove.

Dimidimi, probably we have fixed this problem. Can you download the version and see if it displays locking processes or not on your computer. Please, find it here:
