1. Did you try to uninstall the program and see if it helps to restore your settings?
2. What opersting system do you use?

The problem still persist...

Originally, I was running XP sp2 when I installed the program. I uninstalled the program and the computer had no problem. I ran the pc for hours with no problems.

Then, I installed the program and the erratic behaviors started again.
Since then I uninstalled and installed sp3 and reinstalled USBSafelyRemove with no luck.

I’m really disappointed because I like this program…

I have SP3 installed on XP Pro and I do not have a problem so maybe the system is infected with some malware.

Malwarebytes MBAM is very good and its definitions are updated at least once per day:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Down load it then update it then run a Quick scan and let it remove whatever it finds and reboot to let it remove the locked files it finds.

What video graphics adapter does the system have and is the driver for it up to date from the manufacturer's site?
Change is inevitable except from a vending machine

Has YoKenny's advice helped you to solve the problem? If yes, what malware caused these problems?
