4.2 Beta 1 does install and run in the Processes tab of the Windows XP Task Manager (service and program), but that's about it...

I see the regular Windows safely remove icon and cannot get to the USBSafelyRemove UI

If automatic shortcut creation is added to a future release, please make sure that this is behavior that is configurable (can be turned off).

It runs fine on XP SP3 so far for me.
