Menu is very slow to popup on one machine

On one new Win-7 PRO x64 Lenovo laptop usbSR is very slow (laggy) to appear, and then all I get is the window outline for about 8 seconds. It can take upto 12 seconds before I can make a selection to safely-remove. - once this lag is over, all subsequent "calls" are immediate, until the ma...

Install v6.x

About 3 or 4 months ago I purchased a new edition of usbSafelyRemove to replace my v.old v5.x (2013) - I believe I am entitled to free upgrades for the first 12 months. Should I uninstall the older version ? ... or install v6.x over the older version ? One of my machines is dated 2013 v5.x Thank you...

Re: What is the advantage of v5.3.xx over v5.2.1.xxxx

Eleven months later, no response :( I am still using v5.2.1 on old PCs but now have a new laptop. Was contemplating paying for an upgrade. USBSafelyRemove has been invaluable ... extremely disappointed at the lack of "support" - in the past Igor has been very helpful - with 20,361 views of...

Re: Suggestion: drive label in "ready to disconnect" panel

Is there any progress for my request. I note v5.3. has been released I am using v5.2.1.xxxx - my AutoCad rigs get very cluttered with partitioned HDDs -- internal and external - drive letters on the "can be removed" notification are not what I remember - the drive name is my "referenc...

What is the advantage of v5.3.xx over v5.2.1.xxxx

Thank you for your excellent program :) - have been using USB Safely Remove and LockHunter since Feb-2013 I am currently using v5.2.1.1195 on two machines Q1: would I benefit from upgrading to most recent v5.3.5.xxxx ? - I cannot find any development info to compare the two versions - using Win7 (32...

Suggestion: drive label in "ready to disconnect" panel

Sometimes with multiple same-brand USB devices connected just showing the device name is not enough.
I would appreciate the drive letter AND label on the ready-to-disconnect panel

Re: Multi-partitioned HDD, safely remove

@ Techland :) I owe you an apology   Just discovered the device icon is "alive". - I had assumed the device-icon would behave the same as partition/drive when pointed to. - change of appearance (and the green magnifier shows) when pointed to When I click the device icon "t...

Re: Multi-partitioned HDD, safely remove

I think I might have discovered part of the answer to my question - when I clicked on one of the drives the "released" popup lists all drives/partitions on the storage device - in this case E and F discovery.png Does USB Safely Remove check the status of all drives/partitions on the device...

Re: Multi-partitioned HDD, safely remove

@ Techland If you click on the drive symbol to the left all 'partitions' are ejected The left of "what" ? The only active "links" in the USB Safely Remove popup window are the partition/drive labels, and I can only click them one at a time. There is no clickable "item" ...
