http://www.usbsafelyremove.com/: Unavailable?

Hi!

It's been a couple of weeks since I always get a "500 Internal Server Error" when accessing http://www.usbsafelyremove.com/. Was there any change in the USB Safely Remove site?

Thanks

Re: Beta5: "Hide when there are no devices to be stopped" in Windows 2000

Igor hi and thanks for replying! This is exactly what I meant. First I stop the device then I unplug it physically but the icon is still there in my system tray. Dimidimi, thank you for the message. What do you mean by "detach"? The icon now disappear only when you unplug the device physically. The ...

Beta5: "Hide when there are no devices to be stopped" in Windows 2000

Hi!

I just noticed today that the option Hide when there are no devices to be stopped does not work in Windows 2000 SP4. Even though I detach my USB devices the application icon is still shown in the system tray.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Plans for USB Safely Remove 4.0 and Windows 2000

Hi!

Is the latest version going to be compatible with Windows 2000? I have been getting the "SHILCreateFromPath could not be found in shell32.dll" error since beta 1.

Thanks
Dimitrios

SHILCreateFromPath error!

Hi!

I just downloaded and installed this first beta on my Win2000 SP4 machine and got an error stating that and entry for SHILCreateFromPath could not be found in shell32.dll. Was support for Windows 2000 removed from v4.0? Have I missed something?

Thanks
Dimitrios
