http://www.usbsafelyremove.com/: Unavailable?

Hi!

It's been a couple of weeks since I always get a "500 Internal Server Error" when accessing http://www.usbsafelyremove.com/. Was there any change in the USB Safely Remove site?

Thanks

Igor, this new version worked just fine! Keep up the great work!! Dimidimi, probably we have fixed this problem. Can you download the version and see if it displays locking processes or not on your computer. Please, find it here: http://safelyremove.com/upload/usbsafelyremovesetup_4-0-beta5_w2k.exe

Beta5: "Hide when there are no devices to be stopped" in Windows 2000

Hi!

I just noticed today that the option Hide when there are no devices to be stopped does not work in Windows 2000 SP4. Even though I detach my USB devices the application icon is still shown in the system tray.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Plans for USB Safely Remove 4.0 and Windows 2000

Hi!

Is the latest version going to be compatible with Windows 2000? I have been getting the "SHILCreateFromPath could not be found in shell32.dll" error since beta 1.

Thanks
Dimitrios

Thanks so much for the prompt reply, Igor! I am so glad to hear that I will still have one of my favorite proggies under Windows 2000 :-)

SHILCreateFromPath error!

Hi!

I just downloaded and installed this first beta on my Win2000 SP4 machine and got an error stating that and entry for SHILCreateFromPath could not be found in shell32.dll. Was support for Windows 2000 removed from v4.0? Have I missed something?

Thanks
Dimitrios
