Beta 3

Just installed Beta 3 and as usual, works great! No problems with WinXP! I can't see where any improvements are required, but you guys will think of some. :D

It is too easy to stop a device

Question for you, virgil21. Why complicate things for nothing when SIMPLE is what does the job? Point at the device, the USB stick or device that you want to stop, click on it, unplug it and end of story. Of course it's too easy to stop a device. That's the whole purpose of the Utility. I've been us...

License Key

Thank you Igor, you're a gentleman and a scholar! I really appreciate that. :D USB Safely remove is a true Gem, unlike Yahoo, which is problematic as can be. I would hate to see what would happen if Micro$oft ever took it over. It would be worse than it currently is. Once again thank you for the lic...

USB SafelyRemove for LINUX

Is this doable? :)
I run two O/Ss on my PC, one obviously Windows and the other is Mandriva LINUX. Although LINUX has a relatively good removal Utility, it would be nice to have this as an add-on.
No LINUX programmers, there, huh? :D

One Year Free License.

O.K. How's this for a Review of USB Safely Remove? :D http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-jSax8bkib6N62HoldaEiTRav You may have to reload the page to get to the Review. Can't figure out why it does that. Yahoo has some issues, for sure! I also posted it here, on My Multiply. http://stevekey1.multi...

I've noticed the same thing and couldn't figure out what was going on. You can click on Turn Off computer or Reboot a couple of times and the PC will eventually shut down.
O.K. Igor, there's one bug for you.
:D

Version 4 Beta1

Just installed the Beta and apart from the fact that the Free license key does not work, the program works fine. No bugs so far and the new features are very useful. It finds my scanner and all (3) card readers instantly.
This qualifies as a Final!! Darn, you guys are good!!!

One Year Free License does not work with Version 4 Beta1

Hi Igor,
Is there any reason why the Free license doesn't work with your new beta release? I assumed that the license would be good for any new releases as well, but no go.

Thanks for your assistance.

I can live with that until the next release and considering that the problem is nothing too serious, it will be worth the wait for Beta 4.

Thanks for your reply and all the best. :)

Re: Devices not shown

Hi Igor,

Any updates regarding my post concerning certain devices not shown in Safely Remove?
You mentioned that you would look into the matter and get back to me.
I know you must be busy, but that doesn't mean you can forget about me. :D

thanks for the reply my U3 drive shows up as 2 drives (1CD and 1USB), when I select the .exe on the CD it doesn't work (not even when I remove the driveletter) and when I select the one on the USB it works ok (even with driveletter) so it works now, thanks again To be totally honest with you, the U...

Devices Missing

I have version 3.3.1.617 registered with the Free key for one year. The Logitech keyboard is plugged into a USB port on the PC, while the webcam is plugged into a USB Hub. I also have a USB HP scanner that doesn't show, either. I'll send you the log file shortly and hopefully you can find a solution...

Memory useage

3.3.1.617 - same here (XP SP2). Mem usage is 14 MB at the moment, just after startup: http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/2899/usbsafememnw7.png :?: USB safely remove is using 11.7 MB, but as mentioned, that's nothing compared to what some other programs use and with 1 GB of memory on board, there's...
