Re: Always updating Windows Start Key in Registry

Yes. it looks like USB Safely Remove (and Zentimo) have been abandonded by their programmers. No response for a long time, the blog is filled with spam, reported problems (especially with USB 3) stay unanswered and therefore unsolved. That would be bad for anyone having just bought the quite expensi...

No, I'll give an answer!

Good job guys! Thanks for the update 5.1, and thanks for giving users the chance to update whose license has run out (not me, I got live-long anyway). Just prooves: while you may take some time, you never stop working on USB Safely Remove. You are dedicated to your work and will not stop to improve ...

Re: German translation

Wow! I know that this board is full of spammers and you have zero ability to identify them - but this must be a new mile stone. A spammer just copies a part of my text and you reply to him instead of me...

Re: Make devices really invisible

Sorry, but I fully disagree with the statements here. As someone who continually installs new hardware, or sees the already installed hardware shuffeled around for unknown reasons (you gotta love plug&pray and external USB hubs) I sometime only see new hardware presented as hidden device. Then I...

Re: Wrong font in 4.7?

Pic 1 shows the old system dialog. I really don't understand why you had to replace that one, but anyway, it looks good.

Pic 2 shows the normal pop-up (mouse hover over icon), looks ok too.

Pic 3 shows the ugly one. Now go back to pic 1 and compare - this is really disgusting...

Wrong font in 4.7?

Hello, using the latest 4.7 version, I noticed the pop-up dialog(s) reacting on USB detection and removal (It is now safe to remove the device/Device has been brought back, or similar) looks ugly - or better the text inside. It uses a very small bold font, not found anywhere else on my Windows 7. Th...

Re: German translation

Just to give you an example for a not confusing message which uses the same words as yours:

'It is now safe to remove the device'

Your english is pretty good, so I am sure you get the difference...

Re: German translation

Well, I am a paying registered customer so not much interested in working for this tool. Even worse: I just downgraded to 4.52 because I couldn't stand the nonsense going on in 4.62 anymore. - When clicking a device to be removed the unit is shown with a red dot. So far so good. In 4.62 you added th...

Re: Can I reactivate an external HD?

This problem might be limited to external drives that have additional hubs/controllers and are not shown as 'drive' directly. So the interesting point here is: under what name does USBR list this specific drive?

I noticed that in version 4.5.2.1111 from 28-01-2011 some new text is not yet translated: Einstellungen - Allgemein: Device Power Management Use this option to power off the device after its stopping in Windows Vista or Windows 7 Proposal: Geräte Energieeinstellung Benutzen Sie diese Option, um das ...

Re: transactional ntfs + sata + safe removal

I have the exact same problem. I just was about to pay but it seems USB Safely Removal fails exactly at that point where I would need it most. I work 90% of my time on a laptop and have eSATA drives connected from time to time. These often can not be removed with the handles posted by mysteryman abo...

USB Safely Removal dead - development stopped

Hi there, I was just about to pay the small fee for this wonderful tool when I stumbled over a problem (see thread NTFS transactional) with my eSATA drives. So I came to this forum and noticed: - nearly no traffic - mods absent - progammers/mods respond late if at all (several posts unanswered) - no...
