Re: How to utlize usr commands in a bat file

Hello jeffshead, At the moment there's no "status" command in the list and it's a bit difficult to parse the output of the "list" command since the device there can be either in a normal status or in safely removed status. 1. PLDS DVD-RW DS8A8SH (E:) 1. PLDS DVD-RW DS8A8SH (E:) (...

Re: Windows Auto Play settings

Hi MikeL , Usually File Explorer doesn't block a drive so perhaps your drive is locked with something else. You can check it by setting "Take no action" in the AutoPlay and repeating your actions with the external drive. It's likely your drive will still be locked. Use the "wholocks&q...

Re: NVME SSD on USB is not ejected correctly

Hi Techland,
Can you try to play with this option?

Return the drive into an active state, change the mentioned option to a different value, and then try to stop the drive and see what will happen with it.

Re: Display the icon and name from autorun.inf file in the device stopping menu

Hi Mark, Thank you for the suggestions and I apologize for so long response. Regarding displaying of the default icon (the same as in Explorer), yes, this is a good idea and we will probably implement it in the following version. As for displaying of the drive label (instead of the device name?). No...

Re: Ver 6.3.3 blocked by Smartscreen?

Hi stan43, It's blocked just because the installer has a relatively small number of downloads worldwide. When the number of downloads and success installs reach a specific count the Smartscreen will not show warning. The same behavior was in the previous versions, but recently Micrsoft significantly...

Re: Question about removing a USB controller.

rednecked_crake, thank you! I've investigated the log files and I can see that the program was able to successfully unlock dwm.exe and stop the device. steam.exe was also unlocked successfully but this program immediately opens a new connection to the device so that USB Safely Remove is not in time ...

Re: Question about removing a USB controller.

I tested it with Steam (it also seems to hook into a controller like DWM does). It just shows this window over and over, I think it's trying to close Steam or the connection but it can't. rednecked_crake, can you send us the report from the program so that I can investigate why the program cannot f...

Re: Question about removing a USB controller.

It does work, but it completely shuts off the Desktop Window Manager (dwm.exe) which I'd rather not do. No, the Forced Stop doesn't shut off the processes. It just closes the file connections that a process made to the device. It's that same as if the device is disconnected. So I'd suggest you to t...

Re: Question about removing a USB controller.

Hi rednecked_crake, Have you tried to use the "Forced Stop" button? If yes, and that didn't help, please send me the report from the program. In order to send the report you should right click to the system tray icon of the program, choose Help -> Report a bug", and in the opened dial...

Re: Idea/Request: Show actual number of USB Devices...

whoami62,
Thanks for the explanation, I've got it. We are going to improve displaying of the numbers (some users complain the number is not visible well) and will try to fix that as well.

Re: Zentimo v2.2.1.1278

Keith,
No, this option works for Win 10 as well. Have you tried to enable it?

As for a separated forum for Zentimo, I will think of it.

whoami62,
I'm sorry for so long response. We will consider to improve this feature.

Re: Zentimo v2.2.1.1278

Hi Keith,
Perhaps it's because you have the option "Power off the device after device stopping" disabled. If you need the devices are powered off after stopping or disabling enable the mentioned option and reboot your PC so that it apply.
