Re: Safely Remove not removing system tray version

Hi Hilliker,
The old version had a different mechanism of hiding the system tray icon, so it probably may not have this issue if it occurs on your system. But actually this is a very rare issue and it's likely caused by another tray control software. Do you have this issue on your system?

Re: Safely Remove not removing system tray version

Hi CWBillow,
I apologize for a delay with the response.

Can you try the version 6.0, you can find it here: https://safelyremove.com/allVersions.htm . Will it hide the native icon?

Re: Will USB Safely Remove still have any benefit after Win 10 update?

Hi caribous2 , Actually Microsoft just changed the default policy for device removal, earlier that was Better performance now it's Quick removal. You were able to change this policy earlier by yourself and you can change it now if you need. But that doesn't mean there's no need in safe removal. In c...

Re: Weird USB issues

Hello Arvindmundhe,
I'm sorry but here we cannot help you with these issues, we can only assist in questions\issues related to our software USB Safely Remove. Maybe it'd be better to address your issue to GPD Pocket support or ask on SuperUser forum.

Re: Command line force stop

Max.A, Initially you've asked about forced stop. Forced return may not work in this version under some circumstances: when you have two or more drives connected to the same USB hub (we call these drives as "neighbor devices"). I'll try to explain what caused the issue and how to workaround...
