Rationale: According to my needs, I like to always disable my devices rather than eject them.
Because if I want to disable them I always need to right click on the item/device and disable it

Now it would be great to, in order to disable it faster, just left-click on the device

Furthermore, it would be even greeter to have the ability to change the default action on a per-device basis, not global.
