Idea/Request: Show actual number of USB Devices...

Post by whoami62 »

It's great that you can see a number for how many USB devices you have connected, but my problem is that the number does not show more than 9 devices. I produce a large number of USB flash drives, and usually up to 17 pieces simultaneously in a USB Hub.

A good development of your software would be if the actual number of USB devices is displayed, even if they are more than 9.

Looking forward to this in the next version!

Best regards

whoami62,
I'm sorry for so long response. We will consider to improve this feature.

BTW I just wonder what's the need require you to work with so much USB flash drives simultaneously?

Hi Igor,
thank you for your response!

The reason is that I produce flash drives for educational purpose, they contain the training material for each course/training.
Each participant get their own flash drive.

I would like to be able to rely on the number displayed in the software icon, instead of checking the number of visible drives in Windows Explorer. This would be very nice and time saving, since I produce several hundreds of flash drives each month,

whoami62,
Thanks for the explanation, I've got it. We are going to improve displaying of the numbers (some users complain the number is not visible well) and will try to fix that as well.
