Hard drive keeps spinning after device disabling

Why does my external hard drive keep spinning even after the LED turns off on subsequent reboots even after using Disable Device? I have Seagate Backup Plus Hub and the lifetime updates version of Zentimo v2.2.1.1278.

Hi Keith,
Perhaps it's because you have the option "Power off the device after device stopping" disabled. If you need the devices are powered off after stopping or disabling enable the mentioned option and reboot your PC so that it apply.

I'm running Windows 10, that option is only needed for Windows Vista or Windows 7. The motor still turns off after recently stopping or disabling device until I reboot and after the reboot the LED turns off but the motor keeps spinning until I bring it back online and stop or disable it again. Can you add a Zentimo forum and move it there, this is a USB Safely Remove forum?

No, this option works for Win 10 as well. Have you tried to enable it?

As for a separated forum for Zentimo, I will think of it.
