eee ASUS

Post by abenaton »

I have been using SafelyRemove for sometimes on the wonderful eee from ASUS. The eee ASUS has a 4GB solid state disk which is rather small for a full XP environment. The general idea is to use the SDHC slot to add upto 16GB of space. However, if used as a system disk, the SDHC MUST NOT be removed while the system is on.
I have combined adhesive ribbon over the SDHC slot to PHYSICALLY prevent anyone to remove the SDHC. And I use SafelyRemove to LOGICALLY HIDE the SDHC from the standard XP logical revomal process.
And it just work GREAT !

Thanks a LOT for a great product. I do my best to spread the word in the eee ASUS community !

Hello abenaton! Thank you for the warm words! We are happy to know about new (and sometimes unusual) use cases of our program :P
