since last Avast antivirus update ( 4.8 ), i can't launch USB safely remove anymore. The msg is :
Sign of "Win32:Klone-BKI [Trj]" has been found in "C:\PROGRAM FILES\USB SAFELY REMOVE\ASPR_API.DLL" file.
which is wrong, i am not infected by this trojan. Maybe a file signature problem ?
Anyone have an idea ?
thanks!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, philqc, but the problem lies with your AV and not USB Safely Remove. While AVAST is a decent AV, it's not great and there lies your problem. Perhaps if you were to switch to another reputable Anti Virus program, such as Kaspersky or Bitdefender, your problem(s) would be eliminated.
Just so that you don't think that I'm talking through my hat, I've been in IT for over 25 years and software is my forte, especially AV programs.
So, give Kaspersky or BitDefender a shot and notice the improvements, especially the errors when attempting to run USB Safely Remove.
Just a suggestion.
